One of the most common tooth pain is your WISDOM TOOTH PAIN.
Usually wisdom tooth pain is due to the reason that your jaw is too small for your tooth to erupt.
Wisdom tooth erupts at 17 -25 yrs. At this time most of your adult permanent teeth has erupted so probably the space discrepancy in your teeth arch causes pain as the tooth tries to erupt and barge out trying to fit into its position.
This is called IMPACTION.
When your tooth is impacted it can cause
- Pain on the impacted tooth region (sometimes radiating over the entire jaw region upto head)
- Swelling of the gums surrounding the tooth
- Swelling of lymph nodes
- Swelling of your cheek region
- Food impaction around the concerning tooth in gum region ( this again causes infection, abscesses , cysts )
HOME REMEDIES TO TREAT YOUR WISDOM TOOTH PAIN
- The most effective one for tooth pain is SALT WATER GARGLING .
